Privacy Policy
Mochi (“we”, “us”) is a private sweet-face emoji studio. This policy explains what information we handle.
Information We Process
- A local profile created when you continue into the app on this device, including your display name and avatar.
- Selfies, sweet-face looks, captions, notes, and voice memos you create. These stay on your device and are not uploaded to a Mochi server.
- Sweets balance stored on this device for consumable sticker unlocks, HD export, and Replay tools.
- Purchase receipts processed by Apple for in-app consumable Sweets packs.
- An Apple Push Notification device token if you allow notifications, stored on this device for push registration.
How We Use Information
We use this information on your device to operate Mochi: capture or import a selfie, apply looks, place stickers, save looks, record a voice note, export to Photos, and complete Sweets purchases.
Device Permissions
- Camera — used to capture a selfie for a sweet-face emoji when you tap Camera.
- Microphone — used to record a voice note on a sweet-face look when you tap the microphone.
- Photo Library (read) — used to place your selfie on the canvas or set your studio avatar when you tap Photos or Upload from Photos.
- Photo Library (add) — used to save a finished sweet-face emoji into Photos when you tap Export HD.
- Notifications — optional reminders after you allow notifications following Continue.
- App Tracking — Apple’s tracking prompt after you tap Continue. If allowed, Mochi may use a device identifier to measure sweet-face emoji creation features. Declining tracking does not block create, save, or export.
Declining a permission only disables the related feature. The rest of the studio still works.
Sharing
We do not sell personal information. Looks you create remain on this device; they are not shared with other Mochi users over the network.
